mBraining (mBIT – Multiple Brain Integration Techniques) has fired up Vikki Coombes so much she’s incorporated mBIT into her coaching practice at multiplebraining.uk.co. Vikki says, it’s an “amazing and life changing modality” and she’s eager to certify coaches, consultants, educators, and, health professionals so they can apply these techniques with their own clients. And on Thursday, January 25th, Vikki conducts her first mBit training course till Sunday, January 28th in London (UK). To book her 4 day intensive mBraining course email firstname.lastname@example.org. “Because there are only a few weeks left to kick start 2018 fabulously!”, Vikki said excited about her latest passion.
“So what is mBraining or mBIT?”, I asked. “A brain is defined as a complex functional adaptive neural network…which is our heart, head and gut”, she explained. Neuroscience is now confirming “what ancient wisdom has known for thousands of years”. mBIT through its multiple applications aligns all three brains from a “place of alert calmness” and “balances the autonomic nervous system”, she said.
“Can you share one technique?”, I asked. “One way is to learn how to breathe”, Vikki said. I nodded knowing my own anxiety caused me to take shorter breaths. “It’s something we all take for granted”, I said. But, ”Once you’ve learnt how to get yourself into that place you are well-positioned to connect with each of your brains to receive what each of them is communicating about a particular challenge or decision you are facing”, Vikki added.
“What’s an example of misalignment?”, I inquired.Vikki explained that procrastination is considered a misalignment or break in communication between the three brains, “Your heart and head are in alignment and your gut brain says nope!” In Vikki’s practice she guides her clients within a framework that balances all three brains which allows the individual to easily “move into a space where you are making decisions and taking actions through their highest expressions of compassion, creativity and courage”.
“How did you find out about mBraining?”, I asked “One of my favourite people, Dr Suzanne Henwood, recommended… this new and evolving field of mBraining” and, “my curiosity was piqued”, Vikki said passionately. And, after being introduced to Master mBIT Trainer, Wilbert Molenaar, she leapt at the chance to participate. “At first I was merely curious and wondering what this was all about” but “by the end of my certification I was fired up with the potential this field has for creating deep transformation for individuals”, she said proud of her certification as an mBIT Coach.
But it’s Grant Soosalu and Marvin Oka that are credited for being the pioneers and co creators of mBraining or mBIT. In their ground breaking book, “mBraining Using your Multiple Brains to do Cool Stuff“ they interweave their combined experiences in neurolinguistic programming, ancient wisdom, and modern neuroscience into mBIT. The Multiple Brain Integration Techniques enable people to use their innate intuition to open up communication between the three brains (heart, head and gut) resulting in better decision making and living more satisfied lives.
“Have you found success in applying these techniques on yourself?”, I asked curiously. “I always apply any new technique to myself to test it out before trying on clients”, she said. Vikki has experienced the condition S.A.D. during winter months and mBIT moved her back “quickly and effortlessly into a more optimistic, positive approach to life. I was blown away by the transformation in my wellbeing and motivation and apply mBraining techniques daily”, she said smiling.
“Have your clients reported any successes in using mBIT?”, I asked. Vikki said clients using the techniques have noticed a difference in how they interact with family and friends and in realizing goals they felt were out of reach. “Each client I have guided through the simple mBraining framework has reported deep sustainable shifts within their inner self as well as in their day-to-day lives”, Vikki adds.
“I bought the book on Amazon and they described it as a ‘self evolution’ and an ‘integrated approach that is practical, potent and immediate’”, I stated. “I am thrilled to be involved in this evolving field in the early days because there are so much more to learn about and opportunities to be included in the creation of new ways of using mBraining”, Vikki interjected.
“Amazon also boasts that the lessons in the book can ‘transform your relationship to yourself, to others, and to the world’. Can mBIT complement a spiritual practice?”, I asked. “I love that mBraining complements other modalities”, Vikki said. And she, loves to guide her clients but encourages them to apply the techniques to themselves on a daily basis.
Vikki Coombes offers her expertise in cognitive behaviour, neurolinguistic programming, transaction analysis, and positive psychology in her coaching practice. But with the addition of mBIT training it’s solidified all her experience into a comprehensive package she can offer to her clients and in training fellow practitioners to use.
